Sunspots and Geomagnetic Storm

While the new moon is oozing its juice upon us… the sun is so not taking a back seat. Phew baby baby….

from spaceweather:SUNSPOT GENESIS: A large sunspot is growing in the sun’s northern hemisphere. Only 24 hours ago it didn’t exist, now the active region sprawls across more than 80,000 km of solar “terrain” and contains multiple dark cores as large as Earth.
