How to Read Tarot for Others (part 3)

It is extremely important to give your clients only the highest possible reading you can from the cards; although a reading can foretell and forewarn, a good tarot reader will inform the Querent of how to best approach the upcoming event and get the most out of it, even if it seems to foretell of a disaster.

One time, The Tower card appeared in a RWS reading I gave for a client who had just broken her arm and lost her apartment the previous week. The client knew enough of the Tarot to know that The Tower can foretell of an upcoming disaster, so she gasped when the card appeared. When I saw the card, I heard the phrases: “the other shoe drops” and “trouble comes in threes” so I told her to be cautious and attentive for the third thing that might be coming. A few days later, her car broke down. Fortunately, the reading allowed her to be prepared, so she took this final event in stride.
